IPv6
Waarom zijn we IPv6 gaan gebruiken?
Als we kijken naar de evolutie van het internetgebruik zien we, zeker sinds de invoering van G4, dat er hoe langer hoe meer gebruik wordt gemaakt van het internet door ‘verbonden toestellen’, het IoT (Internet of Things). 4,2 miljard adressen was al snel niet meer genoeg.
Met IPv6 zitten we goed voor een lange tijd in de toekomst!
